Penetration testing & VAPT

All testing is performed strictly under written authorisation, against a scope you define, with agreed rules of engagement and a named client contact throughout. We do not test systems without documented permission from the party entitled to give it — that is a legal requirement, not a policy preference.

The value of a test is in the report, not the exploit. Ours ranks findings by real business risk rather than raw CVSS, includes reproduction steps your team can follow, and states remediation in terms your engineers can implement.

Retesting after remediation is included, so you finish with evidence that the issues are actually closed.

What we deliver

Scoped as a project, a phased rollout or an ongoing managed service.

01

Scoping & authorisation

Written scope, rules of engagement and authorisation signed before any testing begins.

02

External network testing

Internet-facing infrastructure assessed for exposure, misconfiguration and known vulnerabilities.

03

Web application testing

Authenticated and unauthenticated testing against the OWASP Top 10 and business logic flaws.

04

Internal network testing

Assumed-breach testing of lateral movement, privilege escalation and segmentation.

05

Cloud configuration review

AWS, Azure or GCP assessed for identity, exposure and misconfiguration.

06

Vulnerability assessment

Scheduled scanning with triage, so your team receives verified issues rather than raw output.

07

Reporting

Executive summary plus technical detail with reproduction steps and prioritised remediation.

08

Remediation retest

Verification testing after fixes, with a closure statement you can show an auditor.

FAQs

EC-Council services — common questions

What clients ask before scoping an engagement.

A defined scope, written authorisation from someone entitled to grant it, agreed testing windows and an emergency contact. Where systems are hosted by a third party, their authorisation is required too — we will tell you when that applies.
